Getting there
- Walk from the centre of Minca along the track that climbs beside the river (30 min to 1 h at your own pace).
- Or take a mototaxi from the village if you would rather save your legs.
Explore Minca
A string of pools and small falls on the river, a short walk from the village. Calm water, family-friendly, and best before the crowds.
Pozo Azul is the Minca classic: two small falls and clear pools in shades of green and blue, tucked into the forest on the main river. No athletics required — the track from the village climbs gently and is easy to walk.
It is the pick for anyone after calm water rather than a rock scramble, which is exactly why it is the busiest spot around. Day-trip groups start arriving around 9 am, and by midday the pools are full.
Our tip: head out early, swim slowly, and if you still have energy, hop on a mototaxi to Marinka. Published guides agree both fit comfortably into one morning.
Casa Bosco doesn’t sell or run this visit: go on your own or with a local guide.
